Braves Announce Partnership With Sports Illustrated Tickets

5th February 2025

We are pleased to announce that the Caledonian Braves have become the first Scottish Football Club to partner with Sports Illustrated Tickets.

The Caledonian Braves, Scotland’s youngest senior football club competing in the Scottish Lowland League (Tier 5), is proud to announce a flagship partnership with Sports Illustrated Tickets, which will serve as the club’s Official Ticketing Partner.

This collaboration marks Sports Illustrated Tickets' first expansion into Scotland, bringing its vast ticketing expertise to Braves fans. With a global inventory exceeding USD $2.5 billion and access to over 50 million tickets across sports, concerts, and theatre events, the platform will streamline and enhance the Braves’ matchday experience.

Fans can now purchase single-match tickets at Sports Illustrated Tickets, with the first available game being Berwick Rangers on 15th February at Alliance Park.

"We are delighted to be the first club in Scotland to partner with Sports Illustrated Tickets,” said Chris Ewing, Founder and Chairman, Caledonian Braves. “We feel it is a great opportunity not just for the club but also for our ownership community, particularly those based in the United States, where Sports Illustrated holds great tradition as one of the most respected names in sports media and ticketing. We are happy that Sports Illustrated Tickets has chosen the Caledonian Braves as the club to launch into a new market here in Scotland."

Additionally, the partnership features a referral program that enables the Caledonian Braves to earn direct revenue from Sports Illustrated Tickets sales made through a dedicated link shared with the club’s more than 8,000 owners. The more Caledonian Braves fans that purchase tickets through this link for other events such as concerts, theatre shows and other live sports, provides direct revenue for the club. This initiative not only contributes a valuable financial boost to the club but also strengthens the ties between the Braves, their passionate supporters, and Sports Illustrated Tickets. By integrating fans and stakeholders into the process, the program fosters a more engaged community while supporting the club’s continued development.

"We’re excited to bring Sports Illustrated Tickets to Scottish football, starting with the Caledonian Braves," said Nick Mazzei, VP, Partnerships and Corporate Development, Sports Illustrated Tickets. “This partnership allows us to introduce our platform to a passionate football community and support the growth of local clubs. We look forward to making it easier than ever for Braves fans to enjoy every matchday at Alliance Park."

The Caledonian Braves and Sports Illustrated Tickets will mutually receive public relations and marketing benefits, including the rights to company and team marks for online, media, digital, social usage, respectively.
