French winger Jean Guy Lucas has headed back home to France following an injury setback.
Jean Guy had been taken off early during the Scottish Cup game vs Rothes back in September with a suspected medial collateral ligament injury. After building back up his fitness again, during a training session he turned and felt his knee lock, after assesment we decided to further investigate.
He went for a scan on the 12th Decemeber and found out the following week that he had ruptured his Anterieor Cruciate Ligament. Once we found out he needed the op, the quickest opportunity came to him in France and we decided it would be the best solution to get him back as quick as possible. The advantage there was also that he has been able to stay at a rehabilitation clinic in Nantes.
Jean Guy is fighting fit to return to the Braves with an expected return to Scotland in March due to not being able to fly after his operation. All at the Braves wish Jean Guy their best wishes in hoping for a speedy recovery. He will be a missed figure around Alliance Park and we all look forward to his return.
