Born in Dumbarton, Kyle is a solid goalkeeper who is comfortable with the ball at his feet. After beginning his career with St Mirren, Kyle had spells with Queen of the South, Blantyre, Clydebank and Elgin, before finding his way to Alliance Park at the age of 20.

Kyle made his Braves debut in the South Challenge Cup, keeping a clean sheet away to Maybole.
