Behind the Boot - Cameron Breadner

The winger's choice for football boots is the Puma x Future, which his football idol Antoine Griezmann also wears.

Cammy, a skilled winger hailing from Paisley, made a name for himself in the junior squads of local club, St. Mirren.

His talented abilities did not go unnoticed by the first team, resulting in him securing a professional contract with the Buddies. Cammy recalls: "I played with St. Mirren for seven or eight years.

"I got into football probably because my dad encouraged me to do it... and I also really wanted to do it!

“I remember I didn't like going to the camps when I was a lot younger!"

However, Cammy's dream of playing professional football has been his main motivation, to help him overcome any obstacles through the years.

As Cammy continued to develop, he embarked on loan spells with SPFL clubs Forfar and Stenhousemuir.

Comfortable on both wings, Cammy can also play in different positions, such as left back, striker, and attacking midfield, making him a jack of all trades.

The winger looks up to Antoine Griezmann, even growing his hair out to replicate the Atletico star.

In 2021, he made the move to the Braves, where he has continued to grow. Cammy showcased his talent by netting an impressive seven goals throughout the 2022–23 season.
