Jack Brown is the man holding down the Braves right hand side.
The defender’s choice for football boots are the popular Nike Magistas. Jack explains: “They are sadly discontinued, but it's the first proper pair of boots that I've actually spent a good bit of money on”.
Jack, a skilled right-back - although still young, at 21 - has been to various clubs and has experienced a lot in his career.
The defender began his football journey and professional career with a Premieriship club, having only played for the boys club previously. Brown added: "I went pro for Motherwell at 14, then went full time at 16, and I was there until I was about 18.”
Jack was then signed by Albion Rovers for a year before making his way to the Caledonian Braves in 2021, and he has been here ever since.
Brown’s love for football started with his father, the right-back reminisced: ” My dad is a big Rangers fan, so it started from there; we also had a season ticket and used to go to the games, so that's probably my best memory."
Known for his hard work and talent on the field, he is a reliable defensive presence who can also adapt to different positions when he is needed to, like his idol Sergio Ramos. When speaking about the Real Madrid legend, he revealed, “I like his style of play. He is a centre-half/right back, like the way I play, so really similar to myself."
Brown showcased his skills in an astounding 44 matches for the Caledonian Braves during the 2022–23 season, before notching up 37 appearances this campaign - he will build on this success with his hard-work and energy.
This is just the beginning of his journey in Scottish football!
