Caledonian Braves are delighted to announce an exciting new creative partnership with design studio, Acid FC!
Ed Cowburn joins the Braves as Creative Director having made his name as one of the most exciting and ground-breaking designers in world football via his Acid FC studio.
Braves founder Chris Ewing is delighted to welcome Ed to the club: “I became more familiar with Acid FC with the work that they had done with David Bellion at Red Star FC in Paris.
"We've brought Ed in to design the Braves FC kit for the new season and having been impressed with his approach and vision, decided to extend the collocation through the season.”
His kits for Red Star (Paris) with Adidas in 2020-21 and Leeds United in 2023-24 brought together unique design and story-telling and are seen as cult kits already. Add to this the Walthamstow FC kit with its collaboration with the William Morris Gallery which recently won a coveted D&AD design award (the first for a football kit) and you get a real coupe for the Braves to have Ed on board.
Ed Cowburn said: "It was a no brainer for me to join the Braves having spoken to Chris. The club are a breath of fresh air to football with an opportunity to take risks and create design and build culture that is truly unique. I'm extremely excited for what lies ahead and can't wait to show the world what is possible, starting with next the new kits with Le Coq Sportif."
