Caledonian Braves are pleased to announce the signing of Eachainn Miller. The 23 year old made an impressive official debut against Abbey Vale on Saturday, following trialist appearances against Broomhill and Celtic B, and joins up with Ricky Waddell's squad for the rest of the season.
Miller started his career with Ross County's youth academy, before playing with Stirling University whilst at university - where he appeared in a number of Lowland League matches. Then most recently he played with Clachnacuddin in the Highland League, before a work move back to Glasgow saw Miller depart the Inverness based club.
Hailing from the Isle of Lewis, Miller has grabbed the headlines previously for his incredible travel commitments in pursuit of progressing his football career. Whilst playing for County and again with Clach, he travelled four hours and more than 120 miles, to play in home matches.
Having played primarily as a both a defender and midfielder previously, Miller lined up as a centre back for the Braves on Saturday, which Waddell feels is his strongest position.
The Braves manager said: "We are delighted to bring Eachainn on board. He is a talented young player who is comfortable on the ball and will provide us with an extra option at the back, giving us valuable depth to an area where we have suffered a few injuries."
