Kian's a Brave!

The Caledonian Braves are delighted to announce the signing of 19-year-old, Kian Speirs. An exciting attacking midfielder, Kian joins the club on a deal until the end of the season, after leaving Motherwell in the summer.
A local lad, Kian progressed through the highly regarded youth system of Premiership club Motherwell, before departing over the summer.
During his time with the 'Well, the 19-year-old made his debut for the club in July 2022, against St Mirren.
Throughout the tail end of the 2022/23 campaign, Kian also spent time on loan with League Two side Stenhousemuir, making seven appearance for the Warriors, including a Scottish Cup tie against top-tier side, Livingston.
"The opportunity here is great, especially for young players coming in trying to get some game time", stated Kian, after penning his deal with the club. "I'm looking to add more goals and assists to my game as well, so hopefully I'll be able to provide that!"
"I'm an attacking minded midfielder and I like to drive with the ball, have shots when I can", added Kian. "I'm a team player as well and I like to pass the ball, but if there's a chance for me to drive with the ball then I'll do just that".
Kian has unfortunately picked up a knock in training since signing for the club, but is working hard to make his return to the park and we hope to see him donning Braves colours soon!
