The Caledonian Braves are delighted to welcome our first addition of the 2024/25 season, as Lennon Walker signs for the club.
A highly sought-after winger, Lennon joins the club after spending last season with Lowland League rivals Tranent. At the age of just 20, Lennon already has strong experience playing in the division, after spending the season prior on loan at Bo'ness United.
Speaking to BravesTV, Lennon said: "The gaffer was interested in bringing me to the club and I'd had a couple of chats with him even before last season.
"He spoke about how he wants to develop the club and go forward with the club, so I felt it was a good move for me."
The Falkirk native began his career in the youth system of Dundee United, joining the Arabs at the age of 10. Lennon proceeded to sign his first professional deal at the age of 16, before leaving to join Falkirk in 2023.
Lennon possesses superb technical ability and has an eye for a goal, which he's proven by scoring against the Braves for both Bo'ness and Tranent.
The wide-man will be looking to score a few in a Braves shirt now, and believes he can add quality to the side in attack. "When I get the ball I like to beat players, score goals and get assists," added Lennon. "Hopefully I can get more than I did last year!"
Everyone at the Braves are delighted to welcome Lennon to club, and look forward to seeing him play at Alliance Park this season.
Keep your eyes peeled for more signings this week!
