Lowland League Suspended: Club Statement

Following the news of the SFA’s suspension of all football below SPFL Championship level for three weeks, the club can confirm the postponement of the following games:
 
vs BSC Glasgow (H) – Tuesday 12th
vs Berwick Rangers (A) – Saturday 16th
vs Bo’ness United (H) – Saturday 30th
 
The club is fully aware that this was not a decision taken lightly by the SFA. The club also appreciates the decision was made to protect not just the Braves players, but every member of staff, as well as the fans.
 
New dates will be confirmed for the postponed matches in due course – including the Spartans and Gala Fairydean Rovers games, that were due to be played on the 5th and the 9th respectively. Both of those games were postponed due to frozen pitches.
 
For the time being, everyone at the Braves would like to thank members of staff throughout the Lowland League. We know how difficult and costly it has been to make sure the season has gone this far, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of Covid-officers and volunteers around the country. Hopefully we’ll see you all again soon.
