As we ramp up preparations for an exciting 2024/25 campaign, we can confirm our finalised list of returning players:
- Bernie White - Towering shot stopper Bernie enjoyed a sensational first full season with the club last season, after joining in January 2023. The American finished second in Player of the Season voting this past season.
- Jack Brown - Ever reliable right-back Jack joined the club in 2021, and has been an indispensable member of the squad ever since, making 82 appearances in the past two seasons alone.
- Aiden Clocherty - Aiden will enter his second season with the club, after scoring an impressive seven goals last season. Joining the club as a right-back, Aiden impressed in a more advanced position and held down a position as a right/left winger.
- Martin McArthur - Under 20's captain Martin has shown his versatility when called up to the Braves first team, and impressed with his tenacity and leadership when leading out our youth team last season.
- Daniel Martins - Our only ever-present last season, the Nigerian born defender was a stalwart of our backline and has found a real home in the heart of our defence.
- Jack McDowall - One of our longest serving players, centre-back Jack has had terrible luck with injuries over the past seasons, making 20 appearances last season after returning from an ACL injury. The popular figure joined the club in 2019, but unfortunately missed the end of the season, and will continue to work closely with the team as he eyes a return next season.
- Greig Stewart - Entering his third season with the club, 21-year-old Greig impressed after moving from the centre of midfield into the heart of defence following Jack's injury and enjoyed a hugely impressive campaign.
- Robbie Stewart - Our Young Player of the Season, Robbie became one of the first names on the team sheet, impressing in both a defensive and attacking capacity from the left-back role.
- John Guthrie - Our longest serving player and team captain John will be back for his 6th season. The 24-year-old is an ever consistent figure in the heart of midfield and enjoyed an injury free 2023/24 season, finishing in the top three of Player of the Season voting.
- Kristian Gkegka - Albanian-born Greek midfield Kristian impressed last season with his fantastic energy in the middle of the park, making 39 appearances in his debut campaign. Alongside John, he forged a strong partnership in the engine room.
- Enzo Wright - Young midfielder Enzo made a dozen appearances at the end of the 2022/23 season, but had incredibly bad luck with injury last season. Enzo always had a smile on his face however, and we were delighted to see him return from his ACL tear, for our under-20's cup final after months of hard work.
- Scott Cusick - A bright attacking midfielder, Cusi re-joined for his second spell with the club in January 2024, after spending a year in Australia. With a cultured left-foot, Scott immediately added great quality and end product to the team.
- Kian Speirs - 20-year-old Kian is a technically strong attacking midfielder, who joined the club after leaving boyhood club Motherwell last summer. Kian showed flashes of superb ability last season in his 21 appearances.
- Cameron Breadner - After a phenomenal end to the season, we're delighted to welcome back talented winger Cammy for his fourth season with the club. Capable of playing on either wing, Cammy can take his man on around the outside, or cut in to strike with his powerful left foot. He directly contributed 20 goals last season.
- Leo McCartney - A bright young attacker, 17-year-old Leo won a contract after starring for our under 20's and impressing in training. He made his debut away to Queen of the South.
- Josh Gemmell - A young forward with an eye for goal, Josh was patient for minutes last season, but always impressed when he was able to lead the line. He bagged eight goals in all competitions.
- Ross McNeil - Last but certainly not least, we have club captain Ross McNeil. Rossco was our player of the season and top scorer with 28 goals last year, and the 32-year-old has proven he's still one of the deadliest players in the Lowland League. Enjoying his second spell with the club, we're delighted to keep Ross around for at least another season!
