Caledonian Braves are delighted to launch the next fans vote, with supporters from across the world invited to decide their preferred club motto. Following extensive discussions on the Braves Chat section of the app, a shortlist has been developed.
The vote will consist of two stages. The first part will see a 15 strong fan suggestion shortlist whittled down to a final three. Fans will be able to select their top three. These will then be joined by two nominations from the club, creating five finalists. In the final, fans will only have one vote.
A club motto lasts a lifetime. The motto will be displayed at Alliance Park and across all offical club communications and branding.
The member decision making doesn't end there. It is part of a double-header. Once the motto has been selected, the next step will be to design the tunnel area at Alliance Park.
Head coach Ricky Waddell said: "The motto within any club is vitally important. It shows what the club stands for on and off the park and gives the players a sense of identity. There have been some excellent suggestions from the fans, so we are excited to see what comes out on top and embrace it."
Head to the votes section of the app to cast your vote from 9am (GMT) on 25th August. The vote will last until midnight on 30th August. Below you can watch a Braves TV feature with Ricky Waddell talking about the vote.
