Our third signing of the summer has checked in, as fan favourite Zac Butterworth makes a huge return to the club!
An electric winger, Zac, 23 featured for the Braves with distinction for two seasons, before spending last campaign with Cowdenbeath.
After re-signing for the club, Zac told BravesTV: "I really enjoyed my football here before, so when I spoke to the gaffer I was happy to come back.
"Coming back, there's so many owners at the club, we're trying something different and it's working out really well. It's exciting times to be at the club!"
Zac began his career in the youth academy of Rangers, where he remained until 2021. The right-winger has worked closely with Braves manager Ricky Waddell from a young age, after first meeting during their time with the Ibrox club.
The gaffer said: "Zac's a boy I've known since he was 13 or 14. He's always been the same in terms of his personality and he's got a brilliant family.
"In terms of the position of where we were, I believe Zac can be the type of player to push the Braves forward.
"Pace and power are Zac's things, he's got a goal in him, he can cut in on his left or right and he's got great delivery. But there's also room for Zac to improve and that's what we want from every player. One of Zac's main attributes is his mentality, he's always positive, he's always smiling, he's a great boy to work with."
Everyone at the Caledonian Braves would like to wish Zac a warm welcome back to the club!
